How Great is our God
HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD????
Hmmmm... Thats a pretty interesting question dont u think?!
Lotsa times ive said,yea God is so WOW and all that. Ive even sung the song. Not that i ever did doubt how great He is but i've never really understood it till now.
When we first arrived in Australia,our very first blessing was the fact that we had good friends who helped prepare the house for us. Nicely furnished and the fridge was filled with food. We had beds and everything to comfortably settle in. Of course we have sheena who made us feel SO much at home.
There was this one day when we didnt have any cash left. Dad was working but cldnt get paid..haha....some legality thingy to do with our visas. So dad was getting paid on a love gift basis. One day,with hardly any food left in the fridge,with no money in the house or in our account(FOR REAL),and FIVE mouths to feed plus one BIG Indian one, mum of course was very very worried!
However dad always always said,DONT WORRY! it'll work out. The next day,someone blessed our family with a very big amount of cash saying it was for our future education. Is God WOW or what?!!!! Apparently this family had a dream of blessing some family. And they had no idea who we were. They had the dream way before we even arrived in Australia. : ) If this doesnt convince you that our God is great......
Another time, someone had heard that my parents were sleeping on a mattress on the floor and all that. They blessed us with some cash to buy beds and all that. : )Not that it mattered to them except mum was sleeping with crawling milipedes.
Winter was approaching and when autumn came,we were freezing and we needed proper quilts to keep us warm. Now quilts are really realy expensive. Especially when there are 6 of us in the family. And mum was stressing again on how we were gonna get them. Finally we decided we had no choice we are just gonna have to spend and get the quilts. We cant wait for sale. That Friday night,mum was asking one of our friends where was the best place to get good long lasting quilts. I mean, if you're gonna spend a whole lot of money we should get good ones right?!! The very next day(im NOT kidding) the very next day,this family got each and everyone of us a quilt!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good quality quiltss!! I was just so in awe of what God can do and has done. NOt only did He bless us with the physical stuff, through all this,we came to believe with all our hearts that this is definitely where God wants us to be.. And thats just more than WOW!
When Influencers came, That was another stressful time because believe it or not, Church staff had to pay for their own fees. Kelsey,Ryan and I were going to Influencers Youth and that costs $132 each person,plus mum and dad which was $145 each.Now,that is alot alot of money. Again,someone blessed my parents and paid for their fees. Isnt God just amazing?!!
Remember how i said i really really wanted to dance for INfluencers? I did dance for Influencers. Not the way i imagined it though,but that was a blessing as well,because i learnt a great deal from that experience.
Just last Sunday,i attended my very first discipleship traning. My youth pastor asked me if i would be happy to 'mentor' a few Australian born Chinese girls here in Solid. He has also said that he wants me to get more involved in Solid and all that. Im so so so excited because its like a dream come true. The one thing that i kept saying over and over again was.."God,please please use me" and He is!!!!
Also,just blessing me with frineds like sun,gracie,anne,cynthiA,orange lane boys(zie,ben and david)AND MARKOO!!!,lynn,ernestine,renu mary thomas ;)jess,katrina,jaye,christine..SHEENA...and all these people....
I complain alot about not having friends..but i fail to realise the measure of how God has already blessed me in the past four monthss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I could go on and on and on about how great my GOd is!!! I only hope u'll come to know in your life how great He is!! : )
