Sheep....
Dad and I had a very interesting conversation about sheep in the car.
niCci : how does the farmer gather all his sheep? Its everywhere. The field is so wide.
Daddy : Sheep dogs and all that. Sheep are very stupid animals. They HAVE TO BE LED.
niCci : ya... alot of work for the farmer.
Daddy : I wonder why Jesus calls us sheep... It makes sense though.
niCci : Oh yea... it makes perfect sense.
It was kinda like revelation to me... Dont you reckOn???
That we have to depend on Him for direction and guidance??!!!! I think thats a pretty cool illustration....

School starts this wednesday for me. NEw semester. New classes. New teachers.. New classmates.. Its all a little scary and slightly overwhelming. Just TWO more terms to the very end of 2006. God has been soo good... Can hardly wait for the next holiday!!!!
Oooh.. and i did manage to accomplish everything on my 'holiday to do list' and MORE... except take a trip to Melbourne... Im very satisfied with this holiday!!!!

I got this off someones blog. I thought it was quite funny..
Well.. haha.. Enjoy??!!!!!!!!!!!
A certain rich businessman had a beautiful
daughter, who fell in love
with a guy who was a cleaner.
When the girl's father came to know about
their
love, he did not like it
at all, and so began to protest about it.
Now it happened that the two lovers decided
to
leave their homes for a
happy future. The girl's father started
searching for
the two lovers but
could not find them.
At last, he accepted their love and asked them
to
come back home in a
local newspaper. Her father said "If you both
come
back I will allow you
to marry the guy you love, I accept that you
loved
each other truly."
So in this way, their love won and they
returned
home.
The couple went to town to shop for the
wedding
dress. He was dressed in
white shirt that day. While he was crossing the
road to the other side
to get some drinks for his wife, a car came and
hit
him and he died on
the spot. The girl lost her senses. It was only
after
sometimes that she
recovered from her shocked. The funeral and
cremation was the very next
day because he had died horribly.
Two nights later, the girl's mother had a dream
in
which she saw an old
lady. The old lady asked her mother to wash
the
blood stains of the guy
from her daughter's dress as soon as possible.
But
her mother ignored
the dream.
The next night her father had the same dream,
he
also ignored it. Then
when the girl had the same dream the next
night,
she woke up in fear and
told her mother about the dream. Her mother
asked her to wash the
clothes which have blood stains immediately.
She washed the stains but some remained.
Next
night she again had the
same dream she again washed the stains but
some still remained.
Next night she again had the same dream and
this
time the old lady gave
her a last warning to wash the blood stain, or
else
something terrible
will happen. This time the girl tried her best to
wash the stains, and
the clothes nearly tore, but some stains still
remained.
She was very tired.
In the late evening the same day while she
was
alone at home, someone
knocked the door. When she opened the door
she
saw the same old lady of
her dream standing at her door. She got very
scared and fainted.
The old lady woke her up... and gave her a
blue
object, which shocked
the girl. She asked "What is this...?"
The old lady replied...
"Try DYNAMO Liquid Soap... just a dab and it
will
remove all stubborn
stains!!!" ...

You know it is definitely the holidays when you :
Stay up all night to watch a soccer match .
Sleep at 7 in the morning and wakeup at 1 in the afternoon .
Have brekkie at 2pm... lunch at 4pm, then watch another movie .
Eat...Eat and Eat somemore!!!!!!
Krispy Kreme from Sydney!!!
Sit around the house doing absolutely NOTHING!!!
It is the bestest feeling...after a nice hot shower... clean veeted legs... and latte tim tams !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : ) : ) : ) : )

Kids??!!!
Well, its the end of my work experience. I must say..its been a very very satisfying experience...
You know how you will have favourites among a group of people, despite the age group??!! Well, this little boy named Ben always,always got into trouble, but he is the cutest thing ever... He said this to me today :
Ben : Are u going to leave us?
Me : Yes, im leaving today. Im not coming back.
Ben : Why??
Me : Ive gotta go to big peoples school.
Ben : But i like you. I dont want you to go.
Me : I like you too. I wish you were older.
HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH!! No i did not say that. Anyway, it was a very very heart-melting moment.. They are so so adorable.
After this experience, Ive also become a professional nagger.
Me : NO Nesser, its not recess yet. Put your food away.
NO Shannon, do your own work.
NO Ben, that was not a nice thing to say.
NO Janane, you cant go out to play until you finish your work.
NO Joseph, stop playing.
From Monday - Friday. Goodness gracious. Do i really want to work with kids???!!!!!
Ofcourse there are also the more encouraging things that we must say to a kid so that the kid will be confident.

HAHAHAHHAH!!!! Its very very interesting working with kids.
I had this little girl come up to me and say.
Do you know why im very little?
Me : No tell me.
My mummy and daddy never fed me. They only whacked me. Now i have to live with other parents, and they feed me now. So i am growing.
I was very very stunned. Honestly, was left quite speechless.
It has been been very interesting. Its very sad that these kids are born into these situations and have to bear the consequences of older peoples' irresposibilities. It really breaks my heart that at such a young age you hear kids talking about divorce and family issues as though it is the norm. It should not be this way. I must say, ive learnt alot from this.
Got my report today, it was all good. Thank God..
Im actually very sad that it is my last day, and i wont be going back to the class. I really did get attached to some of the kids. Sigh... hahaha.... Oh welll.... :) :)
Its been a very eventful week id say.
Monday - we had the oommens over.
Tuesday - Life Group.
Wednesday - We watched Superman with PG.. hahah.. dumb show.
Thursday - We had steamboat with David, Sun, Anne, Zie and Yong.

Eventful night
It is now 11.30pm....
Ive been enjoying my holidays very much.
Ive done shopping....
Ive done my boat ride..We saw PENGUINS ;) ;) and dolphins....
Ive done lepaking with sun, anne and gracie..and there is MORE to come!! YAAY!!!
Ive watched two movies..and getting around to my LOST! hahah....
Sounds like a pretty good start for a holiday!!!!!
Work Experience has been pretty good too. The kids are soo adorable. For those of you who know me, im not exactly the biggest fan of kids.. but ive been coping. My superviser is also a really nice lady... So Praise God...
We had Life Group tonight, and we finished early, so Christine and I sat outside my house in the car just talking about everything under the sun : ) well, more like under the moon!!!!!!
We somehow (being girls) got to the topic of evil people who roam this earth.. We were each telling stories of things that have happened and all that gear. So it was a rather dark conversation that we were having..Probably a wrong time to be having such conversations, but again..being GIRLS.. hahha... And suddenly, i see this movement near the bushes in front of my house.. for obvious reasons i became quite distracted and was not really paying any more attention to what christine was saying because its fairly unusual to have movement at 10+ in the night. Especially since almost everyone in Adelaide sleeps at 8pm!!!! Let alone in the BUSHES.. ( take note that there are hardly any street lights and its pitch black)
Then before i can even say anything to Christine, this guy appears with a thick stick like thing in his hand. That is all i noticed, and then i screamed CHRISTINE...and she realizes and immedietly turns around screaming and locks her car door. In that split second, i know what it means when people say their heart skipped a beat. My heart skipped MORE than 10 beats i reckoned. I was scared outa my wits.. Then this old man... Wearing a hat and holding his walking stick, id imagine, says to us that he just came to check because he thought no one was in the car and wanted to inform someone that the car lights were left on and ... u kinda get the picture. We thanked him and he apologized for scaring us but... after that, Christine and I just sat there... It was soooo scary!!!!!!!!! : )
Oh well, that was an interesting happening. Every sound after that scared us to death.... We eventually played planet shakers 'Pick it Up' in the car and decided to venture on to more spiritual conversations.... Praise God... HAHHAHAH!!!!!
