I started the hOlidays with STEP UP..
It is the HOTTEST moviE.... with the HOTTEST guy....
OH MY GOSHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is officially my favouritEst moviE!!!!!
The dance in this movie is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! The guy is even more UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
It is a MUST watch....

AHHH... it has been one of those weeks...
SleepiNg at 2am...
Coming home from schOol and rushing to make use of every minute...
Rushing to finish all the assignments that have been left to pile since day one of term three..

BUT.. i survived it..
Just some extra pimples.. Darker rings around the eyes.. ;)
It has been a very good term.. MASSIVE.. but really gOodd.. God has been SOOO goooodd!!!!!!

I was talking to a friend today. We were just talking about God and stuff like that.. She mentioned something about how it is so much easier to just pretend that everything is alright..and that everything is working fine.. but when you are alone you are just absolutely broken and there feels asthough there is just NO hope what so ever for a breakthrough in your life and...ya...

I was then just thinking of myself. And how i feel the exact same way. Then i was thinking.. hmmm.. why do we do that?? Why do we pretend to be alright and act asthough we've got everything in control...
For me.. pride plays a major role..

Im too proud to say.. hey.. im not alright.. i dont know how to deal with this.. ive got insecurities that i need to deal with.. im finding this really hard to cope..
It is so so so so much easier to run away from the very thing that you need to deal with. The very thing that scares you. And at the same time.. you know you are running away from the very thing you actually WANT to do.. and the very thing God has called you to do..

Thats what i have been doing.. RUNNING!!!!!!!!
God... i dont want to run anymOre.. I dont want to pretend asthough everything is fine. I dont want to keep running away from the very thing that You have called me to be.

BUT.. i know that ive got a God that is just inbelievable.. and that He NEVER fails me.. His promise lasts forever..

I was reading Romans 8 28-30 last night..
vs 30 - God planned for them to be like HIs Son; and those he planned to be like HIs Son, He also called; and those He called, he also made right with Him; and those he made right he also glorified.

It was a very wow verse to me..it was like.. already in the begining GOd planned for us to be like HIs Son.. like His very own Son.. and that we are called.. like how much of an honour is that??!! To be created to be like His very own Son.. MAN!! that just blows my mind away...

And.. that is why.. i will keEp striving to be ALL that God has meant to be.. Eventhough it is tough and id rather soak in my self pity and keep running away.. and pretending that everything is alright.. i will take those small steps to make it right with God again.. because i know that my GOd will come through.. and that my GOd is all i have.. and is all i need through the seasons.

Biology Prac

I went to bed eagerly expecting an exhilarating day ahead, filled with much adventure, jaunt and experience.
FINALLY…the day arrived. It was as though time deliberately slowed down. For the first time in a long while I waited with growing anticipation to be punctual for the first lesson of the day with a smile on my face :)

As soon as Mrs T walked into the class room, I greeted her with much enthusiasm and even offered to help her with preparing for the prac that I was eagerly expecting.
Good Christian chick I became!!!!! ;) ;)

Context sheets were passed around the classroom as Mrs T unhurriedly explained the prac in precise detail. She then disappeared behind the doors that strictly and clearly displayed ‘STAFF ONLY’… I held my breath with much excitement as I waited for her to bring out the treasure – COW’S EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FINALLY…FINALLY...FINALLY…FINALLY… I silently squealed with great delight.

HAHAHAHHAHAHHA....
I had the most exciting biology prac today- I dissected COW’S EYES!!!!!!! It was an experience indeed… An experience that I will never forget!! Not soon atleast :)
It was so SO SO much fun…
It was remarkably fascinating and motivating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The aroma was horrifying…the sight was shocking… BUT… at the end of it all… IT was exceptionally rewarding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D
This is UNDENIABLY the best part of going to school!!!!!

"Use me", was all I muttered as I sat up in my bed,

The two most powerful words that I have ever prayed.

I struggled with myself, the greatest battle was of the mind,

It vehemently convinced, counting my worth less than a dime.

I craved for a miracle, to acquire strength and knowledge too,

Yet my build remained petite, my brain was not renewed.

I recited a few proses, listening for a commanding air,

but am met with a squeaky voice, one that was lacking in flare.

I gazed in to the mirror, greeted by blooming and ripe pimples,

No handsome spell I guessed, not even a charming dimple.

I stared down at my legs, a close clone of tiny twigs,

Why couldn't they be longer, run faster or render harder kicks?

Flushed with anger I'm reminded of my ardent plea,

Yet as BIG as God is, how could He use me?

I chucked the thoughts away as my head rests on the pillow,

Wandering away, In my dreams I'm a superhero,

Jostled from my repose, I realize I'm no Hulk,

But a geeky teenage boy, in desperate want of bulk.

Comforting myself I believe, that I will someday be of use,

But for now to indulge in fantasies,I will firmly refuse.

I look upon my hands, thinking what good can I do,

And sigh at the sight of 5 loaves of bread, and of fishes; only 2.
